    From South of Charlotte: Take I-77 North via the ramp on the Left toward Charlotte. Merge onto I-485 East via Exit 1 toward Pineville. Merge onto Johnston Rd / US-521 South via Exit 61. Turn Left onto Ballantyne Commons Parkway. Turn Left onto John J. Delaney Drive.

    From the Ballantyne Resort to the Cyclotron Open House: Start out going West on Ballantyne Commons Pkwy toward Johnston Rd / US-521 North. Turn right onto Johnston Rd / US-521 North. Merge onto I-485 West via the ramp on the Left. Take the NC-160 exit (Exit 4) toward Fort Mill. Turn Right onto Steele Creek Rd / NC-160. Turn Right onto Shopton Rd.
