Why Accreditation?

Achieving recognition of your PET Laboratory through accreditation generates a tremendous sense of professional accomplishment. Today, accreditation is an important step in the professional development of PET. By having your lab obtain accreditation, you demonstrate your commitment to excellence and quality patient care in your lab and in the field of PET.

Whether you are required to by private payors or want to differentiate your PET center in a competitive environment, obtaining PET lab accreditation may be a key initiative for you. Visit the accrediting body of your choice – ICANL or ACR – for more information.

If your PET center team needs CME or CE credits to obtain accreditation, the PET Champions Series Home Study CD is provided through an educational grant from Cardinal Health to the EduMed Corporation.
