SYNtrac® Mobile
is a new 'sidekick' to SYNtrac®.
It synchronizes with SYNtrac® to allow you to view the dayboard and
enter dosing information while away from your SYNtrac® desktop computer
and out of the hot lab. It also has barcode reading capability for both patients
and
doses, to ensure that the right patient receives the right dose. Similar
in shape and size to a PDA device, it's small enough to fit in a lab coat
pocket.
SYNtrac® Mobile will enhance nuclear department efficiencies, accuracy,
and
HIPAA compliance. Department personnel often write down information on paper
to be keyed later into SYNtrac®, duplicate entry that increases the risk
of HIPAA and regulatory violations. SYNtrac® Mobile helps reduce the risk
of data entry errors while saving time. Plus, the ability to enter data outside
the hotlab reduces radiation exposure for department personnel.
SYNtrac® Mobile begins beta testing in Winter 2006 and will be available
